Diamond's On-line Life
The idea of bringing to business life a fictional character* came about as I wrote her story. As is the case in a lot of fiction, reality showed me that as women we need to support each other. Not tear each other to shreds.
True, I've seen a lot of progress in this area lately, but when I started writing Diamond's story about 15 years ago, I felt a bit of pressure from female manipulation. (Not you Mom:-)
However, bear with me as I state the obvious: mothers do play a major part in developing values in their daughters. Money and gifts can not replace time and communication. The story life of Diamond shows how devastating wrong priorities can be to our young ones. But she rebounds with the help of concerned mentors.
That is where you can be of help. Diamond's International Associates and Friends, Inc
will be the connector between mentors and our aspiring "Diamonds." By means of already established businesses, communities and forums and developing ones, we will polish up our gems. Give them the confidence necessary to choose paths that will benefit them and us.
