Invite Accepted (Contest / Give me Ekphrastic) "Jehovah declared to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.” Jehovah will extend the scepter of your power out of Zion, saying: “Go subduing in the midst of your enemies.”" ""Jehovah will be at your right hand; He will crush kings on the day of his anger. He will execute judgment against the nations; He will fill the land with dead bodies. He will crush the leader of a vast land." Ps. 110:1, 2, 5, 6. *** All aflutter with delight they swarmed overhead in a twilight sky in grand anticipation, not questioning 'why'... An invite spectacular also made to other hungry birds of prey-- eagles, vultures, ospreys to gather to a feast international in scope on an unspecified up-coming day... Look! Yes, listen as it is described this way: "I saw also an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice and said to all the birds that fly in midheaven: “Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of military commanders and the flesh of strong men and the flesh of horses and of those seated on them, and the flesh of all, of freemen as well as of slaves and of small ones and great.” Yes, unfortunately, "the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the one seated on the horse"-- The Prince of Peace "and against his army." Rev. 19:17-19. John "saw three unclean inspired expressions that looked like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon" Satan "and out of the mouth of the wild beast" the worldwide political system "and out of the mouth of the false prophet." The seventh world power. "They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and they perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty." Why? "Why are the nations agitated And the peoples muttering an empty thing? The kings of the earth take their stand And high officials gather together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one. They say: “Let us tear off their shackles And throw off their ropes!”" Throwing the world into darkness. Killing off genuine 'hope'... "The One enthroned in the heavens will laugh; Jehovah will scoff at them. At that time he will speak to them in his anger And terrify them in his burning anger, Saying: “I myself have installed my king On Zion, my holy mountain.”" "Ask of me, and I will give nations as your inheritance And the ends of the earth as your possession. You will break them with an iron scepter, And you will smash them like a piece of pottery.” So now, you kings, show insight; Accept correction, you judges of the earth. Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Honor the son, or God will become indignant And you will perish from the way, For His anger flares up quickly. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him." Ps. 2. *** "The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life;" "“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." John 3:16. "the one who disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him." John 3:36. *** “In that day confusion from Jehovah will be widespread among them; and each one will grab hold of the hand of his companion, and his hand will come against the hand of his companion." Zech. 14:13. “‘I will call for a sword against him on all my mountains,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. ‘Every man’s sword will be against his own brother. I will bring my judgment against him with pestilence and bloodshed; and I will rain down a torrential downpour and hailstones and fire and sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many peoples with him. And I will certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations; and they will have to know that I am Jehovah.’" Ezek. 38:21-23. "Mountains writhed in pain at the sight of you. A downpour of waters swept through. The deep roared with its voice. It lifted its hands high. Sun and moon stood still in their lofty abode. Your arrows went out like the light. The lightning of your spear was brilliant." Hab. 3:10, 11. "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, Which I have reserved for the time of distress, For the day of battle and war?" Job 38:22, 23. "This is what Jehovah of armies says: ‘Look! A calamity is spreading from nation to nation, And a great tempest will be unleashed from the remotest parts of the earth. “‘And those slain by Jehovah in that day will be from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be mourned, nor will they be gathered up or buried. They will become like manure on the surface of the ground.’" Jer. 25:32, 33. “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: ‘I will cause powerful windstorms to burst forth in my wrath, and a torrential downpour in my anger, and hailstones in destructive fury." "And all the birds were filled with their flesh." Rev. 19:21. *** "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more."-- "Listen! There is a commotion of many peoples, Who are as boisterous as the seas! There is an uproar of nations, Whose sound is like the roar of mighty waters! The nations will make a sound like the roar of many waters. He will rebuke them, and they will flee far away, Chased like the chaff of the mountains before a wind, Like a whirling thistle before a storm wind." Isa. 17:12, 13. For now: "“Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Rev. 21:1, 3, 4.

BIBLE VERSES EXPLAINED Revelation 21:1—“A New Heaven and a New Earth” https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=502300135&srcid=share 24. (a) What judgment is executed on the wild beast and the false prophet, and in what sense are they “still alive”? (b) Why must “the lake of fire” be figurative? 24 The seven-headed, ten-horned wild beast out of the sea, representing Satan’s political organization, is tumbled into oblivion, and along with it goes the false prophet, the seventh world power. (Revelation 13:1, 11-13; 16:13) While still “alive,” or still functioning in their united opposition to God’s people on earth, they are cast into “the lake of fire.” Is this a literal lake of fire? No, not any more than the wild beast and the false prophet are literal animals. Rather, it is a symbol of complete, final destruction, a place of no return.
