Mankind's Path

Mankind's Path I began on a path clear, straight, and bright over which doves flew. It brought me peace. It made 'sense'. It's 'direction' led to 'specific' destinations guiding 'right'. I walked along the 'way' among a varied few determined to follow although, a forest dense gradually grew... I became confused... Some of us never 'survived' through... "Yes, others received their trial by mockings and scourgings, indeed, more than that, by chains and prisons. They were stoned, they were tried, they were sawn in two, they were slaughtered by the sword, they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins, while they were in need, in tribulation, mistreated; and the world was not worthy of them. wandered about in deserts and mountains and caves and dens of the earth." Heb. 11:36-38. Then, past 'high' branches I peeked a light. So I began to trek faster to gain further 'insight': "That is also why from the day we heard of it, we have never stopped praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the accurate knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual comprehension, so as to walk worthily of Jehovah in order to please him fully as you go on bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the accurate knowledge of God; and may you be strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may endure fully with patience and joy". Col. 1:9-11; 13-15. For their 'wise' stars have fallen because of dark thundering skies. Black night gave many fright. Now 'truth' is conquering 'lies'. Why I kept calling out to His 'name' after finding 'true' delight. For given admonition: “Let everyone calling on the name of Jehovah renounce unrighteousness.” 2 Tim. 2:19. Which caused this global 'blight'. "For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”" Rom. 10:13. I continued on this path stalwartly walking 'upright'. Because: "He (Jehovah) rescued us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;"--Jesus Christ.
