Not To Be Side-Lined (contest Tell me your story - Misty Erious)
Not To Be Side-Lined (contest Tell me your story - Misty Erious) A baton I choose to be twirled-- since a tiny girl in this hate-filled dark empty world; to elicit joy before a parade... crowds lined in blazing sun or fading shade to watch hardline asinine reclined or sourdined over time I hope inclined to join this happy line because of wisdom swirled as colorful ribbons on ends wondrously spinning as varied folks striding fast or as slow-pokes by spiraling years or thunderous fears refined defined appear encouraged to still move forward endlessly to sublime whether in front in the middle even bringing up the rear... To everlasting 'wins'. No longer resigned to self-imposed destiny-- Side-lined... Eternally. I toss to blue skies; yes, catch in both hands a staff I learned to whirl-- words on a wind; spun to console youthful to old hungry to thinly veiled hostility held within since existing in darkness. A worthy goal-- 'Light' beckoning weary 'souls'.
