When I Woke Up
Glorious sunlight displayed since upped shades didn't wake me this day. Thunder played; lightning lit my room; rain pummeled my window pane. Reflected back-- me lying abed; blanketed. On my table a cup streamed deliciousness. Tempted me to sip. Whipped cream, its top tipped. "Ah! Someone does care," I thankfully quip.
