Why Not 'Goodness'?

Why Not 'Goodness'? “This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: ‘You have gone far enough,... !’ “‘Put an end to your violence and oppression, and do what is just and righteous. Stop seizing the property of my people,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah." Ezek. 45:9. “This is what Jehovah of armies says, ‘Judge with true justice, and deal with one another in loyal love and mercy." Zech. 7:9. "This is what Jehovah says: “Uphold justice and righteousness. Rescue the one being robbed from the hand of the defrauder. Do not mistreat any foreign resident, and do not harm any fatherless child or widow. And do not shed any innocent blood in this place." Jer. 22:3. For in loyal love I delight, not in sacrifice, (rituals) And in the knowledge of God, rather than in whole burnt offerings." (habituals) Hos. 6:6. "To do what is right and just Is more pleasing to Jehovah than a sacrifice." Prov. 21:3. "He has told you, O man, what is good. And what is Jehovah requiring of you? Only to exercise justice, to cherish loyalty, And to walk in modesty with your God!" Micah 6:8. *** "My son, do not forget my teaching, And may your heart observe my commandments, Because they will add many days And years of life and peace to you. Do not let loyal love and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; Write them on the tablet of your heart; Then you will find favor and good insight In the eyes of God and man. Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, And he will make your paths straight. Do not become wise in your own eyes. Fear Jehovah and turn away from bad." Prov. 3:1-7. Then: "Stand firm, therefore, with the belt of truth fastened around your waist, wearing the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet shod in readiness to declare the good news of peace. Besides all of this, take up the large shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the wicked one’s burning arrows. Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, that is, God’s word, while with every form of prayer and supplication you carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit. And to that end stay awake". Eph. 4:16-18. *** “So return to your God, Maintain loyal love and justice, And always hope in your God." Hos. 12:6.

How can a young man keep his path clean? By keeping on guard according to your word.—Ps. 119:9. Young ones, do you sometimes feel that Jehovah’s standards are too restrictive? This is what Satan wants you to think. He would like you to focus on what those who are traveling on the spacious road are doing, on the good time they seem to be having. He may use what your peers at school are doing or what you see on the Internet to make you feel that you are missing out on all the fun. Satan wants you to think that Jehovah’s standards are keeping you from enjoying life to the full. But remember this: Satan does not want those who are traveling on his road to see what awaits them at the end of the journey. (Matt. 7:13, 14) Jehovah, on the other hand, has given you a clear picture of what he has in store for those who stay on the road to life.—Ps. 37:29; Isa. 35:5, 6; 65:21-23. w21.12 23 ¶6-7 Photo credits: https://nmisredeemed.files.wordpress.com/2018/08/friendship.jpg?w=736 https://www.aljazeera.com/mritems/Images/2020/6/8/d29d797205224022bf1cb4b84a938921_8.jpg © 18 mins ago, Lucretia McCloud christian hope love society spiritual teen
